Homemade Teriyaki Sauce. It’s the MVP🏅of these Asian-inspired salmon and rice bowls. Use some of it to marinate pieces of salmon with before baking and the remainder is drizzled over everything in the bowl for savory, unami, crave-worthy perfection. You can use store bought which I discuss below in the recipe area.

30 Minutes and It’s Ready. The salmon bakes for just 12-15 minutes and during that time, prep the other ingredients. Use English cucumbers that don’t need to be peeled, a bag of shredded carrots saves time, toss a handful of frozen shelled edamame into a glass bowl with water for 5 minutes in your microwave. Use ready rice (frozen or microwaveable) to cut down on cooking time and effort (or just skip the rice and go low carb).
