Little Things That Bring Me Joy
Now onto a few things that I’ve purchased lately that have brought me joy, happiness, put a smile on my face, or have made my life easier! The majority of these items are in the $20-30 dollar range (with the shoes being the only outlier).
Magnetic Pills & Supplements Organizer - I love this little case because it keeps alllll my pills and supplements organized and it’s very compact so great for travel. But it still holds a lot because supplements like collagen are big clunky pills and you need to take multiple. Some of the compartments are smaller/bigger than others so your tiny pills don’t get lost. The lids to the compartments are magnetic and TIGHT. Love this modern pill case!
Compact Size Boars Hair Brush - Comes in a protective case and great for travel, your gym bag, purse, the center console of your car, desk drawer. I have to use a boars hair brush to get my hair into a ponytail or else I have massive fly-aways. This saved me on my trip!
Slingback Flats - I have huge feet (women’s size 12 but I’m 5’11”) so they aren’t out of proportion for my body but I have a hard time finding cute, comfy dress shoes. These are a win in a variety of colors and prints in sizes 5 to 12. I got the Dessert Cat Animal Print. Very lightweight and you can practically fold them in half! There’s also a square toe version in many color/prints.
Foldable Keyboard - Coolest little thing! A keyboard the size of your phone because it folds in half and you can bluetooth connect it to your phone and type on it. Great for situations where voice dictating is just not acceptable, you don’t want to drag a laptop, but you do have to write some emails or long messages. Perfect.
Magnetic Measuring Cups & Spoons - I love how they just ‘snap’ back together. I also love not having all my measuring spoons on a ring so that I don’t get clean ones dirty in the process of measuring. It also feels more organized in my drawers.
Foaming Face Cleanser - I lovveee bubbly, foamy, "fluffy” face wash. Gels or soaps that don’t really foam, meh, not really my jam. After a favorite Lancome cleanser was discontinued two years ago, I’ve been on a hunt for something that works for my skin, FOAMS, and is readily available. Bam. If you’re ever in France, buy it there, it’s half the price. But even at full price in the US, it’s still a very fair price. There are products for two to three times the price in Sephora!
First Witch of Boston - Free on Kindle Unlimited! Fall, Halloween time, I thought this was a great time of year to read this book about witches. However, this is actually set in the 1600s and follows the story of a woman who was a medium, healer, midwife, and a “witch”. Great historical fiction read! Tip - I have a whole list of my Favorite Historical Fiction Books of All Time!
Best Cat Toy - I have 3 cats and you know how cats are with toys…a cardboard box or a string is often their go-to rather than a fancy-schmancy too. Except this one. They all adore it and it can entertain them for hours.
